加拉太书 6:9  我们行善不可丧志，若不灰心，到了时候就要收成。( Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 NIV)

箴言3:5-6 你要专心仰赖耶和华，不可倚靠自己的聪明，在你一切所行的事上都要认定他，他必指引你的路。Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight[Or will direct your paths].

路加福音11:5-13 ⁵ 耶稣又说：“你们中间谁有一个朋友半夜到他那里去，说：‘朋友，请借给我三个饼， ⁶ 因为我有一个朋友行路，来到我这里，我没有什么给他摆上。’ ⁷ 那人在里面回答说：‘不要搅扰我，门已经关闭，孩子们也同我在床上了，我不能起来给你。’ ⁸ 我告诉你们：虽不因他是朋友起来给他，但因他情词迫切地直求，就必起来照他所需用的给他。 ⁹ 我又告诉你们：你们祈求，就给你们；寻找，就寻见；叩门，就给你们开门。 ¹⁰ 因为凡祈求的，就得着；寻找的，就寻见；叩门的，就给他开门。 ¹¹ 你们中间做父亲的，谁有儿子求饼，反给他石头呢？求鱼，反拿蛇当鱼给他呢？ ¹² 求鸡蛋，反给他蝎子呢？ ¹³ 你们虽然不好，尚且知道拿好东西给儿女，何况天父，岂不更将圣灵给求他的人吗？” ⁵ Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; ⁶ a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him.’ ⁷ And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’ ⁸ I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity[Or yet to preserve his good name] he will surely get up and give you as much as you need. ⁹ “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. ¹⁰ For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. ¹¹ “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? ¹² Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? ¹³ If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

路加福音18:1-8 耶稣设一个比喻，是要人常常祷告，不可灰心。 ² 说：“某城里有一个官，不惧怕神，也不尊重世人。 ³ 那城里有个寡妇，常到他那里，说：‘我有一个对头，求你给我申冤。’ ⁴ 他多日不准，后来心里说：‘我虽不惧怕神，也不尊重世人， ⁵ 只因这寡妇烦扰我，我就给她申冤吧，免得她常来缠磨我。’” ⁶ 主说：“你们听这不义之官所说的话。 ⁷ 神的选民昼夜呼吁他，他纵然为他们忍了多时，岂不终久给他们申冤吗？ ⁸ 我告诉你们：要快快地给他们申冤了。然而，人子来的时候，遇得见世上有信德吗？”

18:8节新译本：我告诉你们，他要快快地给他们伸冤。然而人子来的时候，在世上找得到这种信心吗？

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

18 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. ² He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. ³ And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justiceagainst my adversary.’

⁴ “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, ⁵ yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’”

⁶ And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. ⁷ And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? ⁸ I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Mancomes, will he find faith on the earth?”
